Introduction

I started Furry Brains last year as an umbrella for a few web side projects I was working on at the time. Consider this blog as one of those side projects that I probably should have started a long time ago.

So why this blog?

There are hundreds of thousands of blogs on web development and design out there, so what’s the point of one more? Well, as someone who doesn’t come from a programming background, I know that I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time over the years banging my head against the wall over what is apparently so obvious the rest of the programming universe that no one even fails to mention it. Hopefully this blog will be a place where you can find some ridiculously obvious stuff that no one else deemed important to right about.

It’s also a place where I’ll share some of the cockamammy ideas that come into my head. I tend to have a lot, and though I can’t promise they are worth much, maybe someone else will be able to make something more of them than I have been able to.

Lastly, I tackle a pretty diverse range of projects in what I do, so I hope I can share a few tips and tricks that I’ve picked up along the way and learn from others who stop by and comment.
